Specialist Disability Accommodation

Accessible, thoughtfully designed homes for people with high or complex support needs, in the suburbs you already know and love.

A home built around how you live

Specialist Disability Accommodation, or SDA, is housing designed for people whose support needs call for more than a standard home can offer. That can mean wider doorways and hallways, ceiling hoists, accessible bathrooms, assistive technology, and layouts that make daily life safer and easier.

We help you understand whether SDA is in your plan, what design category suits you, and how SDA works alongside your day-to-day support. The aim is a place that feels like home, close to family, transport and the community you are part of, not a facility you simply live in.

What to expect from SDA with us

Housing is only part of the picture. We help the whole thing fit together.

The right design

We match you to a home in the correct SDA category for your needs, so the space genuinely works for your body and your routine.

Support that joins up

SDA and your daily support should work together. We coordinate the two so living arrangements and care feel seamless.

Clear, honest guidance

SDA funding can be confusing. We explain eligibility and your options plainly, with no jargon and no pressure.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if I am eligible for SDA?

SDA is funded for a small group of participants with very high support needs, and it must be stated in your plan. If you think it may apply to you, call us and we will help you work it out.

Is SDA the same as Supported Independent Living?

No. SDA is the physical home and its accessible design. Supported Independent Living is the day-to-day help you receive. Many people have both, and we can coordinate them together.

Can I stay near my family and community?

That is exactly the goal. We focus on homes across Liverpool and Western Sydney so you can stay close to the people and places that matter to you.
